I’ve noticed that all the latest widescreen laptops ie Toshiba, HP are only capable of displaying a Screen Refresh rate of 60Hz – this includes high-end priced models too.
60hz would place too much strain on the eyes.

Is this a common issue with the widescreen displays?,
or an issue with Graphics adapter/chipset?,
or an issue with Windows Vista?

Are there any laptops/brands that can display at higher refresh rates ie 70Hz, 75Hz?

    Thank you
