Alright here is the deal. I managed to crack my screen and I just ordered a direct will work matching number replacement off amazon for a really good price, but the laptop stock has a WXGA display which is from my research 1366x768 which is my max resolution with the current onv panel in it.

    Amazon.com: B156XTN02 V.0 & V.2 New 15.6" LED HD Glossy Screen B156XTN02.0, B156XTN02.2 (or compatible model): Computers & Accessories
    onv screen model number: B156XTN02.2
    Info:
    LED backlight
    WXGA 1366x768 Max resolution
    40 pin connector

So at first it being a 40 pin connector out of the box my thoughts are that its pre-wired and all ready for a WUXGA monitor like the one that comes in a ASUS G55VW which is also a LED Backlight 40 pin connector same spot, same size 15.6" and in theory would just plug in and should work. https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/ASUS/G55VW/

Now from more research, and personal thought. Just because its a 40 pin connector does not mean its still wired to be WUXGA compatible. Here is a picture of my 40 pin connector with the black tap partially pulled back showing the wires wired into the connector. The connector is currently wired with 25-26 pins being occupied. I wish I had a pin layout for dual link to know if WUXGA would be possible

I ordered the other screen because I need my laptop back up a.s.a.p but would like to upgrade to a full hd screen. Any input?

    EDIT--
so there is a serial number on the physical cable it self: DC02001F010 rev 2.0 I attempted to search it to see if its a wuxga capable cable but no luck yet.

well you gotta check and see how many pins are on the motherboard connector for the screen cable, it might be impossible. but, the LCD will work just not at full resolution.

Yea I opened up the service manual and took it apart to figure out more specifics. Found the cable, and its a generic LVDS cable. I figured I could order a FULL HD cable that comes in a similar laptop, and a couple different laptops like the Lenovo Y500 actually has the same cable. I have one of those as well that has a 1080p screen and it as well as had a LVDS 40 pin cable. I took it apart and the cable plugs directly into this laptop, so I figured I could just order one of those or order a Hyde Full HD Acer Aspire 571/571G series LVDS cable. I figured that and the ASUS 1080p monitor from onv would work. I got the stock replacement so I have my laptop back up and running so that I can use it till I can order the cable I need from china and get the new screen sometime next month.

This is the cable I found that supposedly is a full hd lvds ready to go cable.

Did you ever get it to work? The Hyde LVDS cable work with the WUXGA screen?

As I'm trying to do the same to my Acer 5755G.

From your post, it seems like the connector on the motherboard on Acer laptops seem to be the same for most laptops.

After long search i think i have all the informaton i need, so i'll share for others searching.

Basically, to upgrade your v3-571g to full hd, you need screen, cable, hinges and back cover.
    • ACER LCD PANEL LED 15.6" FHD NGL eDP (KL.15608.005), replacement for LG LP156WF4-SPB1
    • ACER COVER LCD IMR GRAY FHD (60.RZGN2.001)
    • ACER CABLE EDP FHD (50.RZGN2.002), or this...Q5WV1 FHD LCD video cable dc02c004600
    • ACER COVER LCD BRACKET R&L FHD (33.RZGN2.001)
Original hd screen has no protruding parts, it has side holes.
For new screen, wich has protruding top and bottom brackets, hinges seems to be same, except, in the upper part they are extended sideways (for screen upper brackets). Cover is gray and probably has holes for fixing lower brackets.

So its probably possible to make tweaks on original cover and hinges/brackets to fix the screen, wich must be eDP because its only way possible for FullHD.
I'll try to do exactly that.
