    Good Evening gents,

Like the title states, I recently installed my driver and now the screen flickers. I ran DDU before reinstallation as well.

I tried another panel and the result is the same, intermittent flicker. This occurs now before windows is initialized, so pre-post.

I do run MSI Afterburner, and I have removed the profile and yet the flicker persists.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Do note that I had no issues prior to this recent development, I had attempted to install the latest 441 after modifying the CPU heatsink and for w/e reason it wouldnt install. Went back to 430 and it installs just fine.

Also, this isnt the first time something like this happened. Though it only happened until I set another refresh rate then push it back to 120hz. This time though it persists.

I had an issue where my new monitor wouldn't work properly with GSync Compatible. DDU and changing drivers did not alleviate the issue. What did finally work was going into NVCP and forcing a full Restore Defaults on every tab.

    Something to consider.

I fixed it this morning but have been spending the day completing the task as every link in the chain had to be verified.

I reseated the GPU and loosened the heatsink a bit, assuming maybe it was too tight. Then swapped panels again to the N173HHE-G32. Then I was golden again.

It seems the stock 120hz panel did not survive, didnt do anything to it so its mildly frustrating. However I was planning to replace anyways.

Now having replaced the panel, the new panel has a dead pixel lol, so I will be replacing again anyways.

    Thanks though!
