    I need to know if this screen has a matte or glossy finish - maybe someone has this actual screen and could help ? I need to know asap as I need the laptop soon.

    15.4" Screen

    It says Bright Widescreen, but I'm not sure if that means glossy or not ?

    It doesn't seem like it has a glossy screen.

    Perhaps do a search on the model and see.

    Yeah I've checked reviews and all that, but none mention the bright widescreen ?

    Oh, and will this screen be suitable for gaming ?

    Have you seen the screen yourself?

    I rang laptopsdirect and they said they were sure it was a glossy finish so I'm still unsure.

    I'm pretty sure, since HP's NC line, their business line, is all matte screen.
