    Hey,
I've been looking around for laptops and wanted a 13.3" widescreen laptop but the closest laptops I could find that I'm satisfied with are 14.1" widescreen or 12.1" standard. That being said, I wanted to know if the height of a 14.1" widescreen and 12.1" standard are the same? If the height is the same for both of them, that would make my decision so much easier...i'd go with the 14.1" widescreen.
Also, how is the readability in a 12.1" standard laptop? I haven't had a chance to actually try out a 12.1" but I have been using a 14.1" widescreen for the last 2 years.

    Thanks!

    By some simple trigonometry:

The 12.1" standard screen is 7.26" high x 9.68" wide. At 1024 x 768 resolution the display is 105.8 pixels per inch.

The 14.1" widescreen is 7.47" high x 11.96" wide. At 1280 x 800 resolution the display is 107 pixels per inch, so very similar to the above.
