    Yes, impact is a major cause.


    As well, they also form out from nowhere for no reason, the pixel just dies.

    Yes it is possible to create them.

    I am assuming that you already have one or more stuck/dead pixels and want to create more so the manufacturer will replace the screen for you correct? :confused:

    An Impact of any sort should be able to create dead pixels.
    However, wouldn't the creation of further dead pixels cause you to lose the warranty?

    I'd recommend staying away of such act, as you might end up losing more than wanted.

    Yep you may leave evidence of forceful damage. At worst you may even crack the screen. They do not have to replace your notebook in such circumstances.

    Some stuck pixels can be fixed by using a screen utility or using a microfibre cloth to "iron" out the stuck pixel. Google...
