    Hello. Does anyone know when Seagate's new perpendicular HDD for notebooks will be available and how much will it cost? Will there be any compatiblity issues with current notebooks? I'm planning to update.

    Also, does anyone have the specs for these new HDD. All I know is that the capacity is more.

    All i can tell you is that there will not be compatibility issues, as notebook HDDs have been using the same interface for years.
