In a probably vain attempt to quiet my clunky Seagate drive I downloaded Seatools but when it scans on start-up it doesn't find my HD. Does anyone else have this problem or a solution?

I'm guessing your drives are in RAID, I don't think that you can use tools like that as the RAID controller is technically the attatched hard drive, However I may be mistaken, I came up with the same problem but never pursued it as it wasnt something I really needed.

Hope that helps or hope someone can correct me if im wrong. :D

I have never had any success with Seatools either with finding the 2 Seagate drives on my M17x yet when i put a external drive via usb it finds it.I was wanting it for checking the current firmware on the drives but its not playing. And i dont have raid array on M17x .
