Hey guys. Hopefully someone can help me!
Alright, here's the story straight to the point. I recently got a new Sager NP9170. It has a second HDD bay so I removed my old HDD from my last laptop and installed it into my second slot in my new Sager. I turned on my computer and it booted in my old OS (Vista).
I was able to tap F7 and get to my boot menu and boot with my main HDD (Win7) and work around it that way. So I got a few files off my old HDD and formatted it. Now everything is working great... EXCEPT I have to go to my boot menu and select my main HDD every time I start up my computer.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I want my computer to always boot with my main HDD (Win7).
If the walk-through is a bit complicated, I would really appreciate a step by step. (Still kinda new to computer bios and stuff.)
    THANKS SO MUCH!

Enter your bios immediately when you first power your computer (pressing F2 I think for Sager models; but could also be Del, F1, F10...)

**Look under the menus. You will find a 'boot sequence' setting. Choose the proper drive as first.

You will also find that it can boot from USB-or-External / network / CD / HDD
Choose the proper order Then Save+Exit

*the above should easily translate to any bios

Also, I have had experience with a few laptops/desktops that change boot order whenever adding new hardware for some reason (such the same as your case). If you ever have boot problems in the future, check to see if you have a thumb drive or external drive plugged in; Unplugging and rebooting will usually fix the problem in that situation, or leaving it plugged in and fixing the settings in the bios again so the problem wont happen in the future (and you can always leave the external plugged in if necessary)... bla, bla, bla... HOpe that Helped!!! :)
