I have a NC6400 with ATI x1300 and XP pro connected to a hp dock and a viewsonic 20" LCD.

After reformatting and whatnot the external monitor won't work with HDMI at all, it simply isn't recognized by the computer.

VGA output works, but -only- in 1024x768 res, three monitors drivers are added, two "Standard monitor" and one "Normal Televison".

I've tried updating ATI drivers and installing viewsonic drivers to no avail, please advice. I've also tinkered with custom resolutions in powerstrip and that doesn't help either. 1680x1050 res doesn't show up by default.
