    Can I use the secure erase feature in Samsung Magician on a Kingston ssd? I intend to put the Kingston ssd in an enclosure as an external drive, I don't want to wipe my main drive. Thanks.

    The tool only seems to work on Samsung's SSD drives and not anything else, so I'd highly doubt it.

    It does let you choose what disk to erase though before you try and erase though; could just give it a try.
