    Hi,
Ive just ordered the Acer TravelMate 8204 and have seens omething regarding a Security Card Slot. I have only found one review that says that " you recieve 2 security cards for the built in card reader....that improves security"

Can anybody throw any light on this as i cant seem to find any more information on this item and what it does or how it works?

If you use the smartcard, there's no point in using Windows passwords, they're not as secure anyway. Unless you meant that you want to have different accounts, activated by the cards? I don't think that's the case; the card would be integrated with the hardware and not Windows specifically. You'd need to type in a password for the smartcard anyway, so if you want multiple users, you'd have two passwords to type.
