I have a Toshiba A6 - 124 Tecra notebook. I am thinking to plugin a 1gb RAM since by default it has only 512MB.
    I found a Toshiba 1gb stick 533MHz for 284chf where as a corsair 1gb 533MHz stick for just 126 chf.
But the corsair one says no replacements. which one shd i buy???
also if i wont the already existing Toshiba ram and the new corsair one have any compatibity issues ???

Its best to use the same brand and speed of ram. So two sticks of 533mhz corsair would do the trick. Upgrading to 667mhz will add another 5% of performance. Corsair is a good brand for sure but I'd recommend crucial (its the most epensive) but is of the highest quality and has the best support
