    Hi.

Sold my laptop on eBay. this is probably a stupid question, but is it OK to send the copies of the recovery DVDs I made when I got the laptop?

I've run DBAN on the laptop, so these won't have any of my info on will they (can never be too sure)?

Ya if it's the set you made with the laptop.

DBAN with minimum 7 pass wipe is all you need...minimum government standard.

1 pass is really all you need unless you have super secret super spy stuff. Even with 1 pass requires advanced hardware tools to decipher and extract information.
