Hi guys, I'm selling my laptop that had 2x256mb of ram DDR 2700. For christmas i got a nice 225$ 1024 DDR 2700 ram. so my laptop is now at 1.25. Whatever, long story short, my laptop had a cracked screen so i was planning to sell on ebay..

I don't really need this laptop as i got a new desktop that is okay with me. But i'm not saying in the future( maybe in 12-18 month) I won't buy another laptop for college(as i am in High school)

    QUESTIONS: Should i 1)keep this RAM 1x1024??
2)Or all the new laptop in one years will run DDR2(non-compatible)??
3)Or you should sell it, so you will attract more bid??
4)Or, this ram in one years will likely only worth 75$,or buy your laptop on ebay and find one that his still DDR..

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR COMMENT!!

All new laptops (core duo) are DDR2, and in the future DDR will become less used and less available. No new laptops will use it in the future, so last laptops with DDR are pentium-M and Turion.

Best thing might be to pull it out and sell it alone. OR pull it out and hold on it for a while until DDR are rare and then sell it. I upgraded an old laptop about a year ago (SDRAM) and the price on those modules was rediculous, since they were rare to find.

If I were in your shoes, I'd just pull it out and sell it now, the gain might not be that much worth it for one piece
