    Does can anyone let me know the steps to service a laptop keyboard, that is misbehaving (the \ character is repeatedly typed) :mad:

    You'll want to contact whomever made the laptop and request a keyboard replacement. Those things are so cheap, and they're so difficult to fix, that you're better off just replacing that piece.
