    What does "Shared Dual Channel" Mean?

    It is a gibberish term Dell and some other mfgrs like to use, telling you the ram runs in dual-channel mode but may be shared with the graphics subsystem.

    The only time it is noticeable is when the machine has an IGP that has system ram reserved for it's use only, which would make your total system memory read less than it actually is.
