Hi guys, I have the chance to choose between two WUXGA screens for my XPS M1530- LG LP154WU1-TL (A1) or Sharp WUXGA. What is your advice? Which one is generaly better?

Some threads here sometime are unknownly ignored without reasonable explaination..don't know why. But anyway, seems like not everytime the forum is helping to someone. Thanks and the operators can close this thread.

I cant answer you, but i think Zfactor can. He seems very knowledgeable about screens. Usually people prefer LG and Samsung panels. Sharp doesnt seem like a very large laptop screen manufacturer.

yea samsung is generally preferred, they're the market leader. they dont produce them alone, sony and samsung have a JV for the lcd sector.

they call it the S-LCD venture. so basically those great screens on the sony vaio's are actually a JV between sony and samsung. other than that, they do a bit of customisation with their own proprietary coatings etc.
