Should I back up my files first or should I download New Asus drivers and Nvidia drivers before I back it up?

I just bought a new laptop 3 days ago and everytime I turn it on something pops up and says "You have not created a backup copy of your factory state
Windows. We strongly recommend that you make it now. Prepare black DVD+Rs or DVD-Rs."
Should I back it up first without installing the latest Asus G53sx drivers and latest NVIDIA Drivers?
