How much 'extra'?
And as always; it depends on how you use your system.
Don't expect great things from it (and the current gen 1TB capacity with sloooow 5400RPM spindle speeds will surely leave you gasping for more performance each and every time that the data or program you're accessing is not in the cache...).
In the second half of 2013... I would say that it is not worth it when for ~2x the money you can get ~10x the storage subsystem performance (overall), albeit at a much lower capacity point.

Should i spend the extra bucks for a 16/24gb ssd with a 1tb 5400 rpm hd?
