This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I think mine is great, fast, durable(to a point lol), and good bang for the buck :)

    I've had a SimpleTech 120GB External hard drive for about 5 years now and it's still working. I believe it actually had a Hitachi inside. (I haven't opened it in years). I leave it on all the time and it gets pretty warm but that's about it.
