Hey, pretty new to the forums so correct me if I'm posting in the wrong place.

In getting prepared for the new Alienware M17x laptop, I'm trying to research what to buy aftermarket, rather than from their site. As far as I know, Alienware doesn't even offer the item I want... and interestingly enough, I cant find it anywhere.

I'm looking for a Slot (alienware compatible) Blu-ray burner w/ Lightscribe functionality. I've looked everywhere I could think of, even newegg didn't have it. There are drives with blu-ray w/ no lightscribe, then there are DVD+R DL drives w/ lightscribe.. never the combination of the two (and I know it exists).

If anyone can help me out and point me to the product I'm looking for, I'd really, really appreciate it :)

I do not know for sure but I thought HP really pushed the Lightscribe hard so maybe check out their site for parts. If you know what model laptop has a slot load and is the same height as your drive you can check for upgrades and see what they have.
