    Slow random read speeds with new XPG SX8200, RMA or try and fix?

    I recently got an Adata xpg sx8200 960gb, and I kept seeing rave reviews about it and in particular for its low queue performance thats reviewers are showing it go as high as 70mb/s in crystal disk. The SSD toolbox optimizations and trim from adata made no difference, but maybe there is a possible fix to this? Performance is basically on par with the factory PM961 256gb samsung.

    Typically the reviews from tweaktown and guru3D gave random low queue read speeds in the high 70s and low 80's, with other review sites giving it speeds in the range of the high 60s and low 70s. As it stands, the drive struggles to maintain over 52mb/s in bench. Even From a cold boot, the tests dont do much better at 54mb/s usually. You'll also see other read speeds are suffering abit, aside from sequential. What I am also at a loss to explain is how my sm961 is all of a sudden doing much better in random reads that are nearly on par with the adata, because its never gone past 40mb/s until now. Its the one with the C drive that is also running 82c

    Drive was totally formatted, partitioned, and optimized with trim and such via the Sandbox tool from adata, and gets slower the more I add to the drive it seems, and I only have eso installed on it and nothing else.
    So What am I missing? Maybe just RMA? The only reason I got this drive was purely because reviews kept showing it excelled in random read, even beating out the 970's. Im not sure if this is something to say, but unlike the samsung, the adata doesnt seem to have a second sensor, which is supposed to be sensor 2 as you can see in the HWINFO64 image showing my performance results. Does this genuinely have no controller sensor??

    Maybe its running at 2x PCIe and not 4x? Swap the drives and see if the slow speeds follow the drive or the socket.
