I had a question about the SMART CARD READER.
I heard that you can use it for military grade security, but is there a way I can use it to make purchases online? some credit/debit cards come with the smart card feature and i was wondering if i could like "register" the card so whenever I am online to make purchases, i can literally just swipe once and all the info should be listed automatically. (so all i have to do is press submit without having to punch in card number, expiration date, etc manually)
i remember having a fingerprint scanner that could log on to email accounts and everything by just a swipe. can this smart card reader be used like that in terms of online shopping?
Also, if i would want to use this as a security feature, where can i get such card?? I saw online that DOD has special cards for themselves, but I am in search for ones for civilians that I could easily just purchase.
if so, what is software that i need?
Thank you for your response in advance.
