So the Corsair P64 now supports TRIM. Is it now a good budget choice?

Still doubting which SSD to get. My Kingston 40GB order can not be delivered and my Intel G2 order is taking too long.

I'm a light user. Most I do is hibernating my system and opening My Computer and Firefox.

Looking at these benchmarks Corsair P64 (samsung controller) performs fine:

Is the Corsair P64 a good budget choice?

I can get it for 160 euro, while the Intel costs me over 200 euro.

Pay the extra and get the Intel, couldn't be happier with this drive. We know the Intel drives perform the best for the OS, and while the other SSDs are better than HDDs, the Intel is by far the best choice, for 40 or so more you should just shell out the extra, IMO.

yeah, it would be money saved at the wrong end. invest big time, have something that will make you happy and last for a long time.
