    Socket M vs Socket LGA775

    I've just got a simple question, is Socket M (obviously for laptops) compatable with socket LGA775 processors (desktop processors such at Core 2 duo or core 2 quad). I'm aware the battery life would diminish to a null, but I'm just interested in the hardware aspects. Thanks!

    No, the sockets are significantly different. Almost always, any two sockets will not be interchangeable. I cannot think of any right now that are either...

    But no, you won't be able to do that.
