Most likely not, only low voltage cpus are soldered.

It's a socket M cpu, so with a BIOS upgrade, you can pop in any socket M core 1 or core 2 duo cpus.

i'm having problems identifying specifically the chipset in my laptop, i have used CPU-Z, PC Wizard 2007, Everest, astra32 and they all show that either i have the i943, 940, 945 intel chipsets, so which is which? what program or utility do you suggest to finally know for sure which chipset do i have?

As for 940/943/945 they are not the same chipset. The 943 only supports Celeron and Core Solo cpus, the 945 supports Core Duos and better as well.

No she's saying find out exactly which one you have so you can tell what you're able to upgrade to. Try everest free edition, or pcwizard2007
