Hi guys, I am going to buy a notebook. Now my only choice is Samsung NP535U3C.
    Can I tweak it somehow?
    Overclock or undervolt CPU/GPU?
When I will buy another memory stick, shall I buy one with 1.35V or with 1600Mhz frequency or with lower timings?
    Has it Sata 6Gb/s?
    Will SSD affect battery life?
    Can I improve battery life?
Can I appy my paste on APU without losing warranty?
Is this notebook enough for staying about six hours on light web-browsing?
Can I apply mobile drivers from AMD.com?
Can I run on it Linux without losing battery life?
    And what about Linux drivers?
Thanks for answering and btw if you know about better ntb for the same price just tell me it. ;)
And sorry for my bad english

    1) Not sure; tweak it how?

    2) Perhaps, but the A6-4455M is a pretty low-performance chip, so don't expect much, even with possible overclocking.

    3) I doubt that you can even change out the RAM in this machine; it might be soldered in.

    4) Should. I don't know any modern notebook that doesn't have SATAIII.

    5) Depends on the drive you choose. Generally, SSDs suck up less power over time (Wh) than HDDs, but different SSDs have different Wh values. Generally, you're looking at 30 minutes or less of additional battery life.

    6) Sure... lower the display brightness, undervolt the CPU/GPU, use SSDs, etc. But, a review said that that laptop has a short battery life anyway (under 5.5 hours).

    7) Doubt it. Ultrabooks tend to be sealed up and trying to open it up will void your warranty. Wouldn't even need new paste anyway since it's such a low-power, low-performance chip anyway.

    8) Review says 5.5 hours. *Maybe* if you lowered the display brightness down to its lowest value, you might get 6 hours, but I don't think it's practical. A 45Wh battery isn't much to work with.

    9) Probably.

    3) It has one stick soldered but it has one more slot. ;) And I don´t know about paremeters. If I will buy 1600Mhz and soldered is 1333Mhz, both will work at 1333Mhz right? But if I buy with low timings, then it will work with low timings? And what about voltage? If the soldered one has 1.5V and I buy 1.35V, will both run at 1.5V or not?
    2) I would rather undervolt it and overclock the gpu than overclock cpu.
    7) http://www.3dnews.ru/_imgdata/img/2012/07/24/632809/s535uxc-inside3-1.jpg on this image I can enter CPU place just by taking away the plate. I heard somewhere, that apu is throttling bcs of overheating.

RAM will always operate at the same speed/timings as the slowest stick of RAM. So you r1600MHz will run at 1333MHz, and whatever timings the 1333MHz uses.

And is it same for voltage?

Someone else will have to chime in on that. Personally, I don't mess with the voltage settings on any of my hardware, laptop or desktop.

Yes, but if I buy 1.35V RAM and I would have another soldered and under 1.5V voltage, will the first one run at 1.35V?
