I wanted to know what kind of pressure of heat sink is for the processor and the graphics card. Is it low or high pressure.

My laptop model is the Clevo p370sm.

Reason--my temp is really high so I ordered Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra for the processor and GELID SOLUTIONS GC-EXTREME for the graphics card.

From some of the test, they tested low pressure to high pressure test on heat sinks.

All laptop's have low pressure on both heatsink... You get better results with liquid ultra on a laptop than a desktop processor. Because the laptop has poorer cooling.

Is that counter-intuitive? You'd get better results with Liquid Ultra on a high pressure mount.

Now I thought more on laptops that have overall poorer cooling and low pressure on heatsink(I use some goggle translator) ;) All thermal grease improves cooling with higher pressure on the heatsink, but a laptop has normally a low pressure on heatsink anyway. If you look at different tests of thermal grease, you see the difference between a very good thermal grease and Liquid Ultra is pretty (very) small. The differences are much bigger on laptops, as they have much poorer cooling than on a desktop computer. Take forexample my Aw17R1 with a Hotwell extreme; The difference between a good thermal grease as IC7, Gelid extreme and Liquid Ultra is very large. Maybe up to 10-12 degrees difference during maximum load. I have not been able to run an ok Overclock on my Hotwell extreme with only IC7 or Gelid extreme.
Side note; Also a bad application of a top thermal grease gives a worse result than a good applied poor thermal greas e... :D
