I am looking into getting a Expresscard SD reader for my laptop, with the intention of keeping it plugged in at all times. One of the things I am curious about is what its power draw is sitting in the slot, and under mild read/write access. Anyone here want to take some readings with notebook hardware control, and get the idle watts before/after, and one with card being accessed?
