    Does anyone know if these sonys have cmos batteries and where it would be ?

    I believe the CMOS is located next to the RAM, though it shouldn't be hard to find given the small size of the motherboard.

    i'll check near the ram, although i did upgrade the memory and don't remember seeing it.
