    I need help :)))
My laptop is "done", no response at all on any key. When I restart, the window pop-up w with 2 options: start w/diagnose problem and start normally.
I did go with both options. Windows files were loaded and screen was black. No responses on any key, only mouse pointer react. I think the hard drive is gone.
    Does anybody experience this problem???
Is this a hard drive or Operational system crashed????

Before trying to troubleshoot so many problems at once, was this laptop dropped? Did somebody spill any liquid onto the keyboard?

You could try reinstalling the OS first by wither using the backup discs from the laptop or a windows disc. If that fails then it is most likely that the hard drive has failed.
