im looking to upgrade a few things in my Sony Vaio FW11S and I am not sure what the maximum I can put in it.
Maximum RAM and Processor?

sorry to bust your bubble but there is no processor upgrade...
i found that i can easily access my processor by screws but thats cause i have a lenovo laptop...
try maxing out the ram (go to crucial.com and run the memory scanner) it will help you with your ram needs...
try upgrading to a SSD!!!

i believe the above poster is mistaken; i recently purchased a sony vaio fw 41 and i felt rather bad since i am told that the core i7 equivalent for laptops will release soon. therefore i opened it up and after a little tinkering it is indeed possible to take out the processor!!! i ruined the thermal compound in the way so i have ordered some but i am quite sure that any processor for the pm45 chipset [such as q9000] will work
