    Just wondering what my options are regarding upgrading this laptops processor?

    It's currently 1.2GHz.

    AMD turion 64 / X2?
    INTEL C2D merom/santa rosa/penyryn?
    Intel CD ?
    pentium D?
    celeron M?
    mobile athlon?

    use a free program called cpu-z and show a screenshot (alt+printscreen)/(shift+insert into MS paint)

    Yeah, its a Core Solo ULV processor, next to impossible to upgrade since these are soldered instead of socketed like the normal voltage processors.

    I have seen some people upgrade ULV processors in some notebooks but they used specialized equipment, (ex. someone from Taiwan upgraded his EEE's 900mhz Celeron ULV processor to a Pentium M 1.2ghz ULV processor)


    So its next to impossible, sorry.

    Its a ULV, which means that the processor is soldered to the motherboard. So basically you cannot upgrade.
    However, you can upgrade your memory or harddrive, if they are not already maxxed out.
