I have a VPCEH3QFX that originally came with a motherboard with 512mb graphics, and I found an alternative board in a service manual that has 1g graphics, and was built using the same printed circuit board. The only difference between the two, and I have carefully compared them, is the additional GPU and two chips which are not stuffed locations on the original board. The question I have is, will the current power adapter work for the upgraded board? I am not sure of the specifications of the power adapter that goes with the 1g variation I want to build, so its really hard for me to compare it. I am using a 4gb ram stick, and a i5 2450m processor. Can anyone help me with this question?

noscowboy2004, if your current motherboard doesn't have discrete graphics, and the new board does, you will most likely need more powerful PSU; otherwise not.
