I have a Sony Vaio laptop and almost a year after I bought it, the battery decided to quit. Sony replaced it for me. About a month ago, the replacement battery died as well so I asked Sony how much a new one is since there's no more warranty. It was 400 S$!!!!! And here's what's more outrageous, even if I pay 400$ (which I think is way over priced) the new battery doesn't come with warranty!!!! ? So why would I buy one for 400? The same thing happened to two different batteries and there's no telling it will happen to the one I buy as well two months from now. It's more than likely it seems and when that happens, I have to spend another 400$ for yet a new one because there's no warranty!

This basically says Sony doesn't believe in their own products! I'm never buying anything Sony ever again!

Just search eBay for a replacement.
