Just wondering if there is a program or way to equalize only the output from the laptop's speakers while leaving the headphone output as well as any other audio output from an external soundcard default.

The reason why I ask is that the sound from my Studio XPS 13 laptop's internal speakers is very tinny. It sounds much better when equalized, but I dont want to have to also equalize the output for when I plug in a nicer set of headphones.

You wouldn't really want to pay for that just to save you from having to switch it on or off would you?
