I have the this sound card Creative Worldwide Support > X-Fi Surround 5.1

Hooked up to my laptop with the newest drivers from Creative. The sound does however ter so it gets annoying. Is there any alternative drivers or is thesre anything else i can do to fix the ter?

When i hook my stereo up to my inboard laptop sound card it does not ter at all but the quality is bad cuz its inboard and am audiophile.

Edit: why cant i say ter here? as in 5lutter now spelled with a 5 instead of a S so i can write it...
