    hi.......my laptop says that it comes with SPDIF........and i can see it in playback devices field in vista also..........what is SPDIF ???...........does this enhance audio quality.........how do i turn this on (if it is not on by default)......did some search in google and wikipedia........didnt get any relevant results except tech info :)

    It's just a digital audio output. Like DVI, but for sound.

    so how do i connect speakers to it ???...........cant find any ports ???

    It's just the 3.5mm jack.
