    Hi,
today I have spilled 1/3 cup of tea on my laptop's keyboard. Turned it off in ~7 sec. Few hours leter I turned i on, everthing was fine except the keyboard. It's not responding until Windows boots (weird) and even then very few keys are working. Is it over, or should give more time to dry out? Computer is "must have" thing for me and I don't want to wait couple days just for tiny possibility. I think keybord replacement is not possible where I live, or it would cost me to much.
    Laptop model: Quanta K1.

Thank You for not judging my english :)

let it dry for 24 hrs.

take it apart. shake out / drip dry any excess.

if you had sugar in your tea, it's not looking good.

    tomorrow give it a try.

best case scenario - no problems or maybe just need a new keyboard

worst case scenario - motherboard fries and you need a new one

Don't turn it back on until you're absolutely sure that it's 120% dried out. In other words turning it back on a few hours later was probably a bad move.

But yeah, turn it off again, and wait till tomorrow. Then see what happens.

Thank God I drink tea without sugar.
I think motherboard is fine, everything works normaly but keyboard.
It's better to have fried mb, than dead keyborad :) I wount be able to live knowing that only keyboard is dead when there is no possibility to replace it because it's **** unpopular barabone and there is no spare keyboard in whole country.

i would give your reseller a call and see if you can buy a keyboard from them or put you in contact with someone who will sell you one.
