Unless you have very specific questions there is no point in opening new threads. Just read the stickies and search for your specific model instead of asking "anyone have this one?".

If I started a new thread for every item I purchased I should have started 100K threads here...

I really disagree with that 'guide'... but to each, his own 'mistakes'.

I have the Samsung 470 Series 64GB version in my X120e, which is slightly slower. Great SSD, very low idle power consumption, reliable.

Agreed. In W7, there is no need to tweak anything. At most, you should:
    - Update to the latest firmware. Do this before you install an OS, since the earlier firmware updates on the 470 are data-destructive.
    - Verify that defragmentation is disabled. It should be.
    - Disable hibernation if you have a lot of RAM, as space is usually tight on an SSD.
    - Decrease page file size, especially if you have a lot of RAM (same reason as above).

I would strongly recommend against disabling indexing, SuperFetch, and most of the other tweaks there.

Depends on your usage. If you are a heavy user working with 40+ windows it may be a real pain to re-open them after the reboot. Instead a wake-up from hibernate will keep every program in its original state.

True, but in that case I would use standby. The minimal power usage in that state is usually fine for me.
