my main question is do i just stack the rsm on top of eachother and put them in the ram slot?
i plan to upgrade my alienware m11x laptop to 4gb of ram

it currently has 2gb of ram and i was thinking of buying this kit
    4GB kit (2GBx2), 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-8500 upgrades for Alienware M11x (Core i5/i7) Laptop/Notebook, CT1268919 from Crucial.com

or can i just get one 2gb and run it with my 2gb
    2GB, 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-10600 upgrades for Alienware M11x (Core i5/i7) Laptop/Notebook, CT1268929 from Crucial.com

if you have 2 gb in a single slot just add a second 2 GB card

if you have 2 1GB cards, swap BOTH out for 2 GB units
