    Hi all,

    Merry Xmas and New Year,

I have a Toshiba Tecra A2 and I have a problem on it when starting. After starting several minutes, the screen becomes dimmed as you can see in the attached picture and the laptop is hang on. But, if I start the machine and restart it, there is any problem.

I have reformated the HDD, reinstalled the Window. But the problem is still remained.

Could you please tell me what is the problem and how to repare it?

    Tks very much,

    Don't see the picture.

As well, is it normally bright at first, then dims alot?

Yes, it is well bright at first, and dimmed after 4 or 5 minutes.

    After that it totally freezes?

Does the brightness commands - usually FN + a Fxx number key - do anything?

You may need to send it in for repairs.
