    Steam games and an external hard Drive?

    So any external hard drives work well with steam? I have 14 gigs left in my laptop and an internal hard drive is not an option as the memory bays are at max capacity.

    Yep, my dad actually runs WoW off a 500gb portable usb drive. Works really well actually. The only problem with running games through usb is the fact that the data transfer rates are lower then that of internal devices so you may get some latency problems here or there, but for WoW at least it works well.
