(This isn't EXACTLY in the nature of this forum, but I'm desperate. Please help if you can. Also, ignore any random plus signs you see in this post.)

This morning I sloshed about 2 drops of coffee into the numberpad portion of my computer (Fujitsu Lifebook 6210) and now the effing plus key keeps just randomly typing plus signs.

As soon as the coffee hit the notebook I shut it down and flipped it over to kind of drain them out and I wiped them off best I could and tried to dry it off. Everything worked fine for about 7 hours after that, then I was just sitting here idle when I noticed some plus signs showing up in an instant message window (as if I had been typing them).

I popped the key off and tried to clean it out, but that wasn't the problem. I've got the key off now and it seems l+ike the problem i+s with +the circuitry under the key. I have NO idea how to fix this as there really are no movable parts.

Sometimes I'll go for a while without it doing anything and sometimes it'll REALLY get stuck on and just type 100 plus signs in a row. All of this without me touching anything.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem? I can't figure out what is going on and have no idea where to start as it is a notebook computer.

Let me know if I left out any details that you need. Thanks a bunch guys.

relacement keyboards are fairly cheap and super easy to install. you can try to contact fujitsu for a replacement. if you've gunked up your keyboard, there really isn't any other choice unless the problem is elsewhere.
