    When will Dell and Alienware refresh their notebook lines with Centrino 2 and GeForce 9000 series? Others have done it but Dell and Alienware are falling behind.

    It'll probably be sometime here in August or September for Dell, but perhaps longer for AW...

    That's interesting. As a company that specialize in high performance gaming notebook, I would expect AW to sell them first.

    I would agree with your assumption but with experience I can offer information. AlienWare kept selling single core CPU's in their top of the line notebooks when even budget had gone dual core.

    DeLL is huge any giant takes longer. The supply must be adequate before they can go into production. They need cash flow. Pre ordering is not an acceptable business model for them.
