    Hi there,
I have an Asus laptop for a couple of years.
Recently, I have a problem with the output sound.
It seems like the songs I play, the music i edit - everything has a sort of compression on it.
Starts with fade in, ends with volume increasing... and it doesn't matter if i use media player to play songs, or sound forge to edit tracks - everything has a compression on it and it really is problematic since I work with this computer and I need it all to sound as it is.

I tried to check the setups on the sound sections but couldn't find anything that is the reason for doing that.
It only happened recently... before - everything was fine.
    Please help.

    Thanks
