So I have a laptop, Acer g9 593 with i7 6700hq and NV 1070. It had some overheating issues and I asked Acer for the fix, they've replaced the motherboard. On a new motherboard, I was changing thermal paste and found some weird pool of smth under the processor. I compared photos of new MB and old one, and the old one didn't have such thing.

Whats going on? Can it be from the factory, or it is traces of some kind of handicraft work.
