When at home is it better to leave it charged at all times when in use and sleeping or to unplug and later recharge? Or does it not matter at all. Sorry I couldn't post in the dummy forums

To keep the battery's health good, its better to recharge whenever its nesscessary, which means to keep it charge all the time.

If you are using your laptop, keep it plugged in.

If you're laptop is switched off, and is fully charged, rather take it off the AC power.

Otherwise it's fine, as long as you don't keep it plugged in for days, it could really shorten your battery life on the long run. If you DO need to keep the laptop on for so long period of time (would be unusual), then rather remove the battery totally and let the laptop run off the AC power only, yes that's possible.

You should search the forums but from what i recall from reading a previous thread...

If you are not thinking of using the battery you should store it at 40% capacity but if u use it everyday i guess u should leave it plugged..
