    Well literally it is...

    Is it bad for your laptop to plug it in while its on, or unplug it at anytime? I wouldnt want to send some power surge through it and blow it up somehow and I have never seen any mention of it.

    You mean the A/C? I'm kinda confused but, I think you mean if removing the plug(whether the plug into the laptop or wall) while in use? If so, yea, its fine, just don't remove it, put it back, remove it, put it back in, etc. repeatedly ;)

    Notebooks are designed to deal with it, so not a problem. That's why you have automatic power profile switching.

    Yep it is safe to unplug and plug in your notebook while in use. :)
